Welcome to my "quilt shop." Let me tell you a little about Joy-Baby Quilts. I started making these quilts as gifts for my nieces and nephews. I now have my own son and enjoy making quilts in my passtime. My sister in law encouraged me to start making these quilts and selling them. That is what I am up to now.
Here is the scoop on the quilts. The quilts I make are crib size and I charge $60 for those, if you choose the material you want. If you are not sure what you want, and just have a general request I am more than glad to buy the materials, I will bill you $10 plus the cost of the fabrics which is usually around $20-$40 depending on what you want.
Rag quilts are such awesome gifts for babies and children. They are great for the sensory skills. The shaggy edges, the different textures of fabrics, and the colors are great for children to play with and lay on. I use quilt batting in the middle to give the blanket some fluff.
It is a lot of fun putting these together. They make wonderful, unique gifts.
